From MarketWatch:
• Apple’s adding more market value in one day than the total value of more than three quarters of the S&P 500
Apple has about 5.48 billion shares outstanding, according to FactSet. That means the day’s price gain added about $34.4 billion to the technology giant’s market capitalization. There were 372 companies in the S&P 500, or about 74%, that had total market caps less than $34.4 billion, according to FactSet.
There is one company within the Dow, Travelers Companies Inc. TRV, -1.04% that had a smaller market cap--$33.57 billion—than what Apple was gaining.

FB - Last evening after-hours it shot up to 134. It's almost in the red now.
AMZN, as usual, runs up before earnings. If the numbers are bad it simply falls down to where it was last week and then steadily heads back up to ATH. Wonder if the day will ever come when it'll get a regular valuation.
GOOG also reports today.
AAPL - Holding up all right. If the Dow has a nice up day tomorrow it should do the trick in getting us over 105.

Wife's 7-month old iPAD-pro just developed intermittent audio. Sucks to be an early adopter! I blame Tim Cook. Bring back Scott Forstall. Good to know there is some1 like you who also like Scott. But I think shouldn't blame TC, he didn't have much choice then.

Bluetooth headphone sales surpass others for first time, with Apple's Beats in top spot. has drastically improves the audio quality of some Beats models. Interesting forums.appleinsider.com/discussion/194190From comments...The Beats Wireless Studio is the best pair of headphones I've owned (and that list includes a B&W wired). My music listening spans an incredible variety of 'styles.' It's all in the ears of the listener.

When I sold my AAPL shares a while back I invested about a quarter of that into AMZN and began selling weekliy CC and have been doing fairly well with far less at risk than I had in AAPL. I sold a deep in the money call on Wednesday on half of those shares. The premiums were very good and I was afraid to hold it all through earnings. The forecast was $1.11 and they came in at $1.78. The stock was only up a little over $15 in AH. Crazy stock--they miss they go up $75, they blowout the number and they struggle to stay positive. Oh well I plan on getting back in AAPL if they linger above $105 anyway..
