Noticed several articles about upcoming Apple products, including a revised MacBook Pro with touch strip in place of function keys, 10th anniversary iPhone, and possible second Apple Watch line, in development for 2017. Controlled leaks on a Tuesday yielding rumor articles on a Wednesday? No, couldn't be. We've never seen that before...

Hmmm.... A leak like that brings to mind the Osborne effect. I can't see apple pre announcing any upgrade.

Anyone follow Peter Ghostine on Twitter? He is calling for AAPL at 75. Although he does have some solid technical analysis and levels, He has had these lowball targets on AAPL before that have been wrong and has shown a bias against Apple in general. Thoughts?

Well, what I was really looking for was another Elliot/technical view refuting it and why the author thinks it is valid. Broad base of information and all.

And I'm with you Mav, it feels like a solid breakout to me. I'm just not discounting contrarian views as quickly as I used to.

Ghostine @ 75 isn't contrarian though, it's kind of stupid
don't worry, my shameless self-quote-tweet had nothing to do with Ghostine, I was just breezing in with some spam like always

The only way to get to 75 is thru a major misfire with the iPhone 7. If sales dropped 10% in Q1 we can easily see 75. Eps of 8x p/e 9 gets us there.
However Apple guided 8% drop for Q4 YOY which means the iPhone 7 will do fine.
Once we add Apple Watch, New Macs, and iPads, we can easily see 5-10% revenue growth for Q1.
The next three weeks will be very important for our stock. We either revisit 100, or say goodbye to it for good. The longer we stay above 105 the harder it will be to see us fill that 96 gap.
The presidential election it looking like a lock for Hilary. The markets like stability so don't see major drops before Nov.

Don't forget people, Apple's Q1 is 14-week quarter again. Remember last time...
It would seem very few talking heads have cottoned onto this yet.

SOMEtimes when a student asks a question, the Professor suggests to the student to do the research.......... petey has 69000 tweets..... twitter.com/PeterGhostinea student could back one or two years to track his predictions. MOST of us are usually wrong if we try to time the market. TOMMO.UK KNEW the iPhone was going to be a big deal in 2007. Instead of just buying the stock and holding it long term, he bought a type of options available in the UK. AAPL did not go up as fast as he thought it would. I could name lots of folks who bet AAPL would go up. There are just as many folks who think AAPL will go down. I am not a professor, just a GrandPa student always learning.

I have little to no knowledge about secure boot but this seems very bad. I hope any government computers and all government IT personnel have been briefed and are taking whatever measures that are available. Anyone expert enough to comment on how bad this is?
