I assume the new wireless technology is only on the iPhone 7. True? Any idea if the new technology can broadcast to two earbuds simultaneously, or two headphones? Airpots work on most Apple products. www.apple.com/airpods/I doubt it works with two devices. Didn't he talk about how easy it was to pair devices?

On another note, I was hoping for some hint of new Macs. Our current offerings are ranging from OK to horrifically stale. I'll give Apple the benefit of assuming we'll have some announcements in that department before long. I wouldn't be surprised at a mac event in a few weeks.

Nothing too surprising about the event. The most surprising thing is that the stock is up on the day!

I did not expect water resistance for the iPhone, this is a nice addition. Thought maybe it would be water resistant but Apple wouldn't make the claim nor advertise it.
The SoC increase is remarkable, especially considering the increased battery life.
My iPhone 5S is looking very dated.

I assume iPhone 7 still has bluetooth, so it will work with my 2 Bose headphones.
The new wireless technology could be a game changer.

The new wireless technology could be a game changer. How so? I ask out of ignorance, not disagreement.

Android companies keep pretending that Android doesn’t exist highlights a problem that I knew existed, in the abstract, but had not really ever seen delineated so well. It's as if Apple had just released iOS 10, but the iPhone 7 was shipping with iOS 7 or 8. It really does highlight the advantages of Apple's "whole widget" approach. In the desktop world, Intel/Microsoft did a better job of ensuring that the latest hardware was running the latest software. Google and its partners are all over the map, and several of the most important ones have or are developing their own OS.

Well I am getting the 7. Biggest reason is because I can. I like the speed, longer battery life, camera, speakers, screen, and finally jet black. They are enough improvements to move the needle in the next 12 months. The upgrade program in UK and China will be huge.
That W1 chip was the biggest news today for me. The functional applications would allow Apple to enter many other areas. Replacing Bluetooth in the Watch is the next move . Airpods are a cool start but they need to make them a better fit.
Apple Watch has some solid improvements, but the lower price will bring many to the table. Not upgrading mine yet.
The stock reacted much better then I expected. All in.

The new wireless technology could be a game changer. How so? I ask out of ignorance, not disagreement. Every where I go I see wired ears or headphones. Very little wireless. I only use wireless, because this is truly Apple (and me). I hate the wires. Yet, I have spent much time analyzing sound with and without the wire, and always, the wire is a clear winner. If Apple can close the gap, it is huge. The wires go. Apple wins. (PS I still do not understand why there isn't a new wireless standard, that solvess the problem)
