I am having a ridiculously terrible time downloading the new iOS system onto my phone. It stays in perpetual downloading mode. Also when I plug it into my Mac I get a pop up that errors occurred. The news reported the system disabling several of Apple's products yesterday morning...but Apple put out a statement that all is now fine. Anyone know what's happening and how to fix it. It seems to be happening every single time there is an update - bad form. Yeah I guess I should be thankful it's not exploding but c'mon already - WTF is the problem?! It seems to be a "given" that there are issues at every time of a new release. Do I sound annoyed? I DAMN WELL HOPE SO!

Not that I'm an expert, but upgrading to iOS 10 yesterday was fairly easy by downloading the update on mac and then installing that way rather than over the air. The ota update on the watch did take forever fwiw

I downloaded and updated 'over the air' without being plugged in for power. I had 98% charge at the time.
No problems.

The ota update on the watch did take forever fwiw I tried it that way first and it kept telling me there was an "error" ... so as an alternative I tried it without the Mac ... as of right now my phone is black and won't even turn on ... let's see what happens.

Not that anyone was waiting with bated breath but finally...success on the download - but it took over an hour. They seriously need to clean this up.

Certainly glad to hear your issues are resolved.
Upgrade issues are all to commonplace.

Glad your iPhone is up and running, But this seems to happen of Late with every new iOS & OS Release where is the Quality Control? Surely is aware there will be a huge ramp on the Servers and with all the Beta's one would think the kinks would get ironed out! what ever happened to "Just Works and Boom! ?

I have found that the thing that works best for updates is patience. Basically, every time I do a system update (for both my iOS and my Android devices) I simply step away from the device and let it do its thing alone and untouched (no button presses, no removing cable if attached, no nothing) until it is complete. Sometimes it takes 10 minutes, sometimes it takes an hour, but I don't touch the device until it is completely done. I've had very good luck with this technique over the years. Only once, probably 5 or 6 years ago did I have a problem with one of my iPod Touch devices that was updating via iTunes from a PC.

Whee! The wind is at our backs - finally. Feels good! I think download issues are simply Apple's servers struggling to keep up with big-ass demand...

Extremely happy to be wrong about testing $100...wow. I'm somewhat unhappy that none of my sell orders for 2019 puts executed earlier this week. Not enough liquidity in those yet. But overall, I'm obviously quite happy.

My 6S updated to iOS 10.0.1 straight over WiFi with no problems. I didn't track the time closely, but it was under half an hour.

We may get a second shot at 100 in the next 5 weeks.
At least visit the 200 MA.
WS can giveth and taketh away at anytime for any reason.
Apple is finally catching up with the market highs from last week.
Let's see what happens when the whole market corrects.
The EW and TA folks now are 115 before we correct.

Verizon executive claiming that iPhone pre-orders are in "normal range." Probably accounts for downturn.
