Technically speaking, we've broken significant prior high at 112, and broken a significant downtrend. Inevitably we'll get a bit of a tussle here, could last hours or days, but in theory the door is open for a run pretty much straight to 120.
All very much my amateur hour opinion. Anyone more knowledgeable care to share thoughts?

Verizon executive claiming that iPhone pre-orders are in "normal range." Probably accounts for downturn. If sprint and T-Mobile are 4x and Verizon is in normal range, that is bullish.

Disappointed that AAPL didn't hold on to $112, but glad it decisively retook $110.

Most consumers don't give a jack about headphone jacks because they don't use any form of headphones or earbuds. Trading jacks for longer battery life is a positive. For that small group who does have "expensive" headphones, well... lightning to jack adapter, law.

All phones showing as shipping in 2-3 weeks, with the exception of jet black 7 (3-5 weeks) and jet black 7+ (November).

If 7 (sound like penis in Cantonese) is good, 8 (sound like grow rich) would be astounding. Long calls(LEAPS 2019) fast... probably do that if there is a correction after earnings by selling AAPL common.

Would someone who understands options comment on how the sale of jan 2019 options contributed to this rally? Or did it?

Mace - Sir - can we get an updated count? Not much change, expect $115-$120 before another sharp decline unless some astounding good news* wave (1) = $88.99 to $101.34, length $12.35 wave (2) = $101.34 to $91.01 wave (3) = $91.01 to $110.23, length $7.70 wave (4) = $110.23 to $102.53 wave (5) = $102.53 to .... min length of impulse, $108.97 (passed) length of (5) = (1), $114.88 normal length of impulse, $121.32 *In that case, wave (5) can be extended to $136.89.
