Nikkei, Shanghai and CAC are RED everything else is GREEN... including AAPL trading at $ 112.74 +0.97 (0.87%) as the run continues.
In the news:
Apple reports launch day iPhone 7 Plus, jet black iPhone 7 allotment sold out. stories at AppleInsider, CNN Money, and others. Meanwhile Walt Piecyk reports AT&T volume is up. Guess Verizon pissed off their Apple customers. Bodes well.

I bought some November and January SPY puts as a hedge in case markets turn down after the election and inauguration. So, markets should soar to new highs. You can thank me later.
Can we all just take a moment, point our fingers and laugh and the clown show that is Colin Gillis? Think of how broke you would be if you heeded his analysis.
Just fun I looked up Max Pain. $106 at the close yesterday,.
Still waiting to be included in Apple's target market, in the meantime I own AAPL, an iMac, a MacBook Pro, an iPad mini, iPod shuffle and an iPhone. Still waiting on my xMac
Any of the technical people left on this board ... can you please tell me what you're looking at as resistance or what PT you're getting?
...expect $115-$120 before another sharp decline (should test 50-day SMA support) unless some astounding good news*
wave (1) = $88.99 to $101.34, length $12.35 wave (2) = $101.34 to $91.01 wave (3) = $91.01 to $110.23, length $7.70 wave (4) = $110.23 to $102.53 wave (5) = $102.53 to .... min length of impulse, $108.97 (passed) length of (5) = (1), $114.88 normal length of impulse, $121.32
*In that case, wave (5) can be extended to $136.89.
Blowoff wave (5)... no idea when it would be complete, just choose one $115 (now!!!) or $121 or $136 .
Just for info, have closed all long calls (Sep) for about 300% profit. Greed in me holding on to calls (Oct $115 and $120)... fingers on the keyboard.
Not selling calls (LEAPS 2018 $100 and $105)... just ride the up and down... should be able to hit $180-$200 before then... iPhone 8 (grow wealth in Cantonese, so is a much better number than 7)... risks with election and Fed are still there... hopefully no surprise there.
The discovery that batteries on the smartphone could ignite created a tricky task for Samsung: orchestrate a recall of 2.5 million devices spanning 10 countries for a product that is increasingly essential to daily life.
But the effort has been dogged by conflicting information and Samsung’s apparent failure at the outset to coordinate efforts with U.S. safety authorities, according to former officials with the agency.
This has led to delays in providing replacement devices and providing a resolution to customers in the U.S., where Samsung is trying to expand and is No. 2 in market share after Apple.
The two sides are working together now and a formal recall announcement from the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission is expected at 4:15 p.m. Eastern on Thursday.
That's almost 4 weeks after the first incident. I hope that if the tables were turned and it was Apple, they would get out in front of such a mess and own it and own the news cycle.
Speaking of which, has anyone heard from our fearless leader recently? Phoebe?
My account, which like most of yours, is somewhat Apple-heavy, just caught up with the SP500 for the year to date a couple of days ago.
Tuffett, sorry about my fit of pique last week. I shouldn't mix up gloomy forecasts with short positions; this board is better with more points of view looking at the Apple problem from all angles, and I apologize. I haven't ignore'd you, but I would understand if you have ignore'd me.
