Just watched this. It's the first time I'm hearing that the lack of space in the Galaxy 7 caused the problems with the batteries, any other sources to collaborate this ? If so, the problem is even bigger than I thought and would bode well for our fruit company. On a personal note, moving into the home we had built today! We purchased a fixer 14 months ago .... it's been a LONG LONG journey as we basically took it to the ground and designed and built a new house. In addition, we sold our other house and thanks to the current real estate market in CA did quite well. What does this have to do with this forum ? Well, this literally is the "House that Steve built" ... Thanks Steve and AAPL as we could never have achieved this without the money we made in the stock. Cheers to the longs ....

I have two additional houses and two condos with the help of Apple . . .

A Samsung tablet just caught fire on a plane and caused an emergency landing. If it weren't for the innocent people involved and the threat to human life this would be hilarious. I was willing to chalk up the Note 7 debacle to an innocent oversight that could happen to anyone, but if it's happening to other Samsung devices as well then there is a serious QC issue and the brand could suffer some serious damage.

I'm surprised this story hasn't gained more traction on major news sites. Of course, maybe I shouldn't be since we are talking about Samsung and not Apple. I agree that it's not a laughing matter, but it couldn't have happened to a more deserving company. Again. I'm wondering how long it'll take before all Samsung devices are banned from airplanes. I know I wouldn't want to be on a plane with one of them now.

Sometimes I wish Apple would be more willing to play a little dirty. Imagine the ad campaign they could create out of this Samsung farce.
