I've had my iPhone7 since summer and have yet to be able to use ApplePay. I'll admit I don't shop much but not once in 4-5 month?

Here, in Canada, we've had tap-to-pay for quite a while. All those terminals now work with ApplePay. I still get looks or surprise at times when I use my AppleWatch to pay. I wanted to say "Yes, I am from the future".

I wanted to say "Yes, I am from the future". I'm in the US, and I use Apple Pay just about everyday, either in store or through an app that supports it (Target, Starbucks, etc.). It is disappointing that more retailers don't accept it, but it doesn't hurt to ask in store. I went to AutoZone a few months back, and had the following exchange with a salesperson when I went to checkout which had an NFC symbol displayed but had no mention of Apple Pay support: Me: Do you accept Apple Pay? Salesperson: No, I don't think so. Me: Mind if I try it? Salesperson: Yeah, sure go ahead. Me: There it goes (Apple Pay accepted) Salesperson: Wow. Yeah, it worked. I had no idea. I still had to sign for my $20 purchase, but I never had to get my credit card out!

I am very worried about China. If Apple can't get back the strength they had there with the iPhone 6, then peak iPhone has come and gone. Expecting India to replace it is a pipe dream.

I've had my iPhone7 since summer and have yet to be able to use ApplePay. Why is that? Keep in mind that there's no need to look for a 'We accept Apple Pay' sign at the checkout; if the pay terminal is contactless, there's a fair chance Apple Pay will just work.

I usually ask the clerk. They usually just shrug though.

The iPhone sales in China are now a major concern. Where is the trouble coming from?
New Chinese models?
Government restrictions ?
Saturation of Market?

So now the FUDsters are trying to create a "Oh yea, well you do it too" battery issue. It is really so tiresome. Think of the poor writers who have to come up with these ideas. I feel sorry for them, i really do. Maybe they should borrow that old SNL bit and just publish everything with the headline "Steve Jobs is still dead" On the other hand, FUD creates stock movement and volatility is the trader's friend so there's that.

Macster your recap of positive Apple stories is appreciated. It is important for traders and investors to remains aware negative and the FUD -- i.e. which way the market winds are blowing. Unfortunately there are many out there trying to talk Apple down. As much as it frustrates me, I look forward to another buying opportunity.

My wife and I use only our Apple Watches to pay at the following local businesses: Trader Joe's, Peet's Coffee, Lucky Market, Nob Hill (Raley's), Jamba Juice, Kohl's, McDonald's, Macy's, Foot Locker, Crate & Barrel, Best Buy...AND...Apple Store.

Wow, for the first time as an investor every single investment in our portfolio is up on the same day except LQMT. Even LQMT is up to ~$023/ share from its low around $0.06, almost back to where I bought at.
Now if AAPL will get back to its all time high.

It's possible. It's also possible that there will be both an iPhone 7S (roughly same as 7 with new processor and some minor feature tweaks) AND an iPhone Special Edition that is an all glass monolith with no buttons and wireless everything. And it's possible that the iPhone Special Edition will be rather expensive at first leading them to have that 7S available for those who aren't that spendy.
