Another broker upgrade: Nomura raises target price to $165 from $135
Meanwhile Needham raises price target from $150 to $165 but changes rating from 'Strong Buy' to 'Buy'.

Another broker upgrade: Nomura raises target price to $165 from $135 That's a gutsy call to raise your target price when the current share price *already* exceeds your current target price by over 5 bucks. These guys are so knowledgeable about the stocks they're covering. /s

Store still down ... they're 4 minutes late bringing it back up. That's unusual for Apple.

Or does it mean that sometime in the future it will reach that value. If it is the former, a lower predicted price would make sense if they see trouble ahead, wouldn't it?

Anyone lookup up high OI for the week? I'm too lazy to actually do it, but 141 pin seems likely if I were a betting man

And... it got pulled! Paul Ryan speaks at 4 pm. AAPL starts bouncing back. Seems like the voting will get postponed for at least a few weeks/months.
Now, on to the next drama!

Whether that's a requirement or not, when one's 1 year target price is exceeded in only five months, that's a good indication to me that the "target price" was a very bad WAG. He set the previous $135 target, raised from $120, on 09/22/16, a day when AAPL closed at $114.62; and about five months later, 02/14/17, AAPL closed at $135.02 which exceeded his *new* target. seekingalpha.com/news/3210341-nomura-securities-sets-135-target-apple
Nomura Securities sets $135 target on Apple Sep. 22, 2016 10:01 AM ET|About: Apple Inc. (AAPL)|By: Eric McCaffrey, SA News Editor Analyst Jeffrey Kvaal maintains a Buy rating on Apple (AAPL +0.9%) while raising his target from $120 (current price $114.76).
=> And, oh look, back on 07/31/15, Nomura's Jeffrey Kvaal slapped a “buy” rating and $145 price target on the tech giant's stock because "Apple was going to extend share gains in 2016". Yeah, I think I remember those share gains in 2016. /s Apple To 'Extend Share Gains' in 2016 - MoneyBeat - WSJ blogs.wsj.com/moneybeat/2015/07/31/apple-to-extend-share-gains-in-2016/ Jul 31, 2015 - Apple Inc. just got another analyst in it camp. Nomura's Jeffrey Kvaal slapped a “ buy” rating and $145 price target on the tech giant's stock
=>I'm thinking I seriously should have become a stock analyst years ago because there seems to be really no experience or qualifications required. Just buy a dart board and start throwing darts. $145 => $120 => $135 => $165
