Nice to return to a green week as AAPL pauses here in the 150's. Enthusiasm should increase as we get closer to WWDC in the first week of June, especially if the expected product updates and other commentary can jumpstart the process of anticipation leading into the 10th anniversary iPhone extravaganza. Get ready to fire up your Apple TV (or web browser) for the live stream. Speaking of which, The Street claims Now We Have an Idea When the iPhone 8 Will Launch, Thanks to Vacationing Apple Employees. Apple's growing power with its silicon design and production weapons looks to get an additional surge according the Mark Gurman in Apple Is Working on a Dedicated Chip to Power AI on Devices. Hope you all have a festive holiday weekend. After a relatively cool and wet Spring here in New England, I am definitely ready to get Summer underway.

Inside AdWords explains new "advances" from Google to enable further monetization of your every online activity by advertisers and their customers. It is becoming ever more clear that Big Brother will take on a somewhat different guise than imagined by Huxley.

They don't care that they are the product being sold, in fact they're mystified that anyone would be bothered...!

Very nice video interview in Apple's Angela Ahrendts on the new in-store experience. One thing I found interesting is that she makes it clear that Steve Jobs' influence at Apple did not cease with his death, as she relates the philosophy behind the remaking of the Apple Store experience to Steve's business philosophy.

Thanks, Rob. That was a very good read. BTW, I also had no problem playing the video here in Colorado, USA.

Thanks, Rob. That was a very good read. BTW, I also had no problem playing the video here in Colorado, USA. His talk brought back memories...CompuServe, AOL and Netscape etc. P.S. I have very fond memories of a great hiking trip in Colorado.... a beautiful part of the world.
