Still climbing. Let's see what the conference call brings...

Will we see the 900 market value tomorrow?

I wonder whether we will see a trillion dollar market cap before the end of the year... If not the end of this year, Feb 2018 after ER seems very likely.

One of the things getting lost in all the good numbers is China.
Expectations of $8.9 billion were blown away by 9.8 billion!

Wondering why the stock is not up more. Could be because of the recent run-up. Some of the future good news was already bought in the past few days. What was WS’s estimate of Q1 guidance?

TC sounds happy.

Strange! Stock not stable.
As soon as TC said iPhone ramp is looking good but he doesn't know when the demand & supply will balance out, AAPL went down from 173.50 to 169.50.
Now at 171.50.

Roller-coaster ride tomorrow?
There's no valid reason for the stock to not go up but there's a good chance the big dogs might play games to kill the Nov monthly options that expire in 2 weeks.

CNBC is going to have to run out Ronnie Moas as every other analyst has been very glowing about Apple's forward guidance.

Why do so many analysts ask questions on the conference call that Apple will never answer for competitive reasons?

I think Cook could have been a little bit more forthcoming about supply vs demand, even if only qualitative. Felt like he was hiding something. Then again, guidance is strong so not too much to worry about really.

Kind of makes me wish they had further delayed the call until Tuesday so he could state bullishness in less qualified and awkward terms.

TC said the word "bullish" twice - has he ever used that word before on a conference call?

Not that I recall. (Maybe its regards to prospects in the China market when carriers were quickly rolling out 4G.) It certainly seemed pointed, or a tell. Sounds stronger than "optimistic".

Good to see them stringing together big growth quarters again. Pretty unreal that they’re expecting to bring in $30 billion more in revenue this quarter compared to last. That’s insane.

The reality of the big numbers going forward will start kicking in by tomorrow. My guess is it opens around 177.

Thanks Apple, for reminding me that you still have it. I felt the iPhone X was going well, and would pay off next quarter. But you put it all together for this quarter too.
I'm guessing an open at 172, a quick peak and then a quick fall to 169, and then a climb through the day to close at 175. Hey, why not.
It's still a ways to 1T, formerly at $193. I didn't hear exactly how many shares were bought back, but it could need a couple bucks higher now. (edit: 5,183,585,xxx diluted shares, 3.9% less than a year ago, currently would need $192.92 to hit $1T...I'm thinking mid-Feb as long as things continue to go well)
Thanks again!

I remember when we were at 95 an every broker you talked to would mention the "law of large numbers" I was just thinking...When exactly does that kick in
