Old news but has scored pay-off and success working with Hearing aid manufacturers to label hearing instruments MFI (Made for iPhone). Low energy Bluetooth connectivity without a streaming neck loop intermediate device. I currently am trying Oticon's OPN devices and am very pleased how seamless the hearing aids connect in stereo to my iPhone. Phone calls, music, videos etc. play automatically directly instantaneously... simply outstanding. Reading up in the hearing tracker forums, Android users complaining they still need a streaming device to stream bluetooth into their hearing aids, except for one Phonak model hearing aid (not MFI), but only mono in one ear. Phonak made the decision not to adopt 's standards. This after many years of MFI technology. There are many reasons for this and of course the multiplicity of android handset makers, software versions and lack of firmware updates, basically fragmentation and not adopting Apple's bluetooth standards. support.apple.com/en-us/HT201466

Well, you can’t claim the Apple News app only publishes what it wants the public to see. This ridiculous article from Business Insider was posted there today. The author’s main complaint about the X and why he hates it: he can’t use it one-handed. 🙄 www.businessinsider.com/iphone-x-negative-review-2017-11Read at yr own risk - self-destructive eye gouging may occur.

First of all, BI has many articles that make we want to scream. I know, I know, why do I keep reading BI articles, but just call me an optimist. I rarely use my phone one-handed, and at 6-6 I would guess that my hands are large enough to make it easier than for most. One has to suspect that the author may find one-handed use most convenient while driving, which is not a good idea in the first place. Also, he clearly has not ever owned one of the Plus iPhones, which are even larger. I would be interested to hear how many forum members regularly use their iPhones one-handed.

I would be interested to hear how many forum members regularly use their iPhones one-handed. I almost *always* use my phone one handed (iPhone 7). I would estimate 95%+ of the time I use it.

I do, though I don’t use my iPhone while driving. Regrettably the reason is I have my iPhone in my left hand & a cigarette in my right hand. Note I only smoke when outside so the house doesn’t smell like an ashtray. ☹️

The author’s main complaint about the X and why he hates it: he can’t use it one-handed. There's a difference between "can't" and not knowing how. The iPhone X supports reachability—he should watch this: www.youtube.com/watch?v=3rCMsv5945Q

The iPhone X supports reachability—he should watch this: www.youtube.com/watch?v=3rCMsv5945QHe did: I've enabled Reachability, Apple's solution for people with smaller hands using larger phones. It doesn't help much. You trigger the feature by swiping downward on the bottom edge of the screen — an awkward motion that makes me feel as if I'm losing grip on the device. It also adds another step to use anything near the top of the phone. --- This guy has made up his mind and there's no changing it.
