I recall when a good jobs report would cause a sell off because the economy was too hot and the Fed would increase the rate.

I did not major in Economics, so I welcome feedback about Analyst: How Apple gets to net cash neutral from more knowledgeable AFBers, but any theory that means more cash gets returned to shareholders always sounds good to me.

A run for $180?!?!? Can AAPL take it... and hold it?

If it can hold 180 into the weekend I think that will bode well over the spring heading to next earnings call. I suspect the usual announcement on div. increase and new buybacks will be bigger than usual and could push us well into the 200s.

The speculation of ~$300 share price by 2022 sounds entirely plausible if buybacks reduce the share stockpile to 3.6B. $300 x 3.6B = $1.08T market cap. Sounds like a no brainer. A yield of 2.6% @ $300 = $7.80 annual divy $7.8 annual divy x 3.6B shares = $28B Again sounds like a no brainer But I am very armchair in the economics department.

If anything, I think it's a little too low. I can see Apple buying more shares sooner, while the share price is lower. Rather than spread it out over so many years, I see a two year period to purchase those shares.
