What do you think about the texture deal? Why not making only a deal to use the news from the magazine? What’s Apple gain by buying them? They are mostly English speaking magazine so from an international POV what’s Apple gain?

Again, AAPL is outperforming the broader market.

They don’t control the content. They are merely a pipe to customer. I can see for music it’s in the dna but magazine? Unless they want to become a news provider and this is a baby step before buying newspaper or reinvent the news

Unless they want to become a news provider and this is a baby step before buying newspaper or reinvent the news I don't think it's any different than iBooks, Apple Music or the TV app. You can call those a "pipe to customer" also. There's no reason it can't be expanded to include international or local language magazines. It's a business model that worked in other areas and will contribute to the recurring income stream.

Not to be negative but there are a couple of pesky GAPs below us -- including one from this morning. Too many years of watching AAPL suggests they will get filled at some point. +1.74 one day, and -1.75 the next. And nearly equal volume, too. I like it's making a pretty rainbow, with a giant pot of gold at the end. I can live with that, even if it takes a little bit of rain to get there. (raining now, but soon enough it will turn to snow, with NOAA expecting 31-44 inches at our house over the next 3 days, and up to 60" at our rental at 7500'. After the last round's 57-86" at the resorts, that will give us a fighting chance at the 150" Miracle March level that we could really use after the mostly warm Dec-Feb. Stay safe out there, whether in the weather here, the east coast, or somewhere else. Winter isn't over yet!)

Here in Colorado, winter hasn't even started. LOL! I didn't realize you guys were that low too. (though the snotel map in this post shows Colorado being better off than we are this year) The 9 day total for the storm at the start of March was close to half of our season to date. We're still at less than half of an average season (300" at our little, lower resort). But last year was around 2/3rds more than normal (494", with many resorts getting past the 700" mark ( early march storm total )), so that makes for an even harder YOY compare. Hmmm, sound familiar? Like Apple and AAPL, things vary from year to year. But I'll tell you, there started being a lot of references to The Shinning last year, enough so that I had to rewatch it. Like the weather, AAPL has ups and downs. Sometimes it's best just to take a step back, let it do it's thing, and enjoy what you can. While it would be hard to complain about a new AAPL high every day, the key thing here is the trajectory from now until earnings, and if the dividend update and cash return plan is enough to keep things moving up after that point.
