I thought that this was a very interesting take on the "sending jobs overseas" topic. BTW, the story is no longer behind a pay wall.

My current theory is that owning a stock is like joining a club. The characteristics of an ATT investor are substantially different on the average from the investor in MLP's. I believe that Apple currently has a large proportion of investors who are focussed on the "get-rich-quick" perspective. They joined us during (indeed may have caused) the run from 120 to 185. They are here for distribution benefits of the repatriated cash. Once that has happened, I do not expect them to stay. I view the recent increased volatility as a consequence of this change in our demographics. I view the reaction of the stock to political tides as evidence of this, up until the tax changes happened. If you are in it for a long term perspective, no problem. Apple has such a wide most that we will recover from their exodus. But I think commitments will be tested over the next six months. Stand fast. And if I am completely wrong, congratulations to the longs

What happened in the last 10 minutes? Crazy. Want to see something other than AAPL crash and burn? You all loved the video from the 2014 Dummy Downhill so much. Here's some pics from this year's. This hopefully takes you to the middle of the stack for our 3rd grade one. It already lost the stack of books, and looks to still be 20 feet in the air. We won best crash, though I'm still hunting for a video of it. The hang glider and the ping pong table are also great ones. The ping pong table almost landed it after a full back flip. If they had added some diagonal supports to make triangles, it might have even held together. Kinda like AAPL. It had a decent day, and just needed to hold it together for that last hour. It's definitely twitchy lately.
