Quick update: iPhone Xs is the gift that’ll keep on giving. Solid gen 2 product - if you are on the fence my advice is time to jump off.
Also, Apple Watch gold stainless steel original ship date Sep 28 - Oct 2. Now, Oct 4 - Oct 8. Order placed minutes after the Apple store opened for pre orders. There is either a component issue that pushes those of us at the head of the line back, or demand is just that crazy.
Saw the AFB gathering PMs. I’ll reply after my AM meetings.

I’m going to stop at an Apple Store during lunch today to check it all out.

Further points to an iOS update fixing the Wifi and Cellular issues, vs. hardware design. The author sited by some arguing a hardware flaw has tried to clarify this wasn't what he found: www.wiwavelength.com/2018/09/antennagate-2018-youre-getting-my.html "You're getting my findings wrong" excerpt: Unfortunately -- though I do not think nefariously -- some forum posters and media outlets have run with my findings, questions, and explanations/solutions to form distorted or at least simplified conclusions that say something to the effect of the new 4x4 MIMO antenna array is to blame, the Intel baseband modem is not to blame, the Intel baseband is indirectly responsible due to design compromises that would not have been made for a Qualcomm baseband, etc.

Over at Apple support thread reports of Verizon sending a few replacements, Apple engineers request log files, etc. Hopefully a 12.0.1 and/or carrier updates soon.
