I certainly agree with his opinion of phone sales as I also believe this is the major upgrade cycle we have been waiting for. This cycle coupled with accelerating buybacks and services growth will get us to his number ... IMHO. I've already talked to several people who are going to be purchasing a new iPhone as they are on a iPhone6 or 6s .... Cheers to the longs

(current for S&P is 24) Based on my personal projections, we'd be looking at a PE of around 21 (Just shy of 20 today). So, while that $310 number looks high right now, it might be in line. I do see AAPL's PE expanding over the next year.

Here's some fun! If you go to the Apple page announcing the October 30 event, the apple image changes every time you refresh. Update: Hmmmm, I used the URL on the page, but re-entering it in a browser doesn't get to the same place. Works if you navigate there from the announcements page.

I could reproduce it easily on my iPhone. I have seen already about 8 versions. I am wondering how many they do have?

Here is why Apple will sell less phones next year. If I want to upgrade it will cost $384 more to have the latest and greatest small size XS with the same memory as my 8. That’s the biggest jump in prices. 50% more then 4 years ago. We have 4 8s in our family. That’s $4800 worth of new iPhones.
I see less phones sold this Q.

Just curious, what would be the resale value on your family’s iPhone 8Ss? Three are on upgrade plans so they have no trade in value. The monthly plan would increase almost $25 each. The one fully paid may have about $500 trade in value, but there is no compelling reason to upgrade.
