Not AAPL related, but market related. GE reported earnings:So, here's where I have a problem understanding this. Other than splitting the company in to two, the news was bad, like really bad. Yet, the stock is UP about 1% in premarket trading.

The presumption is that this is the worst of it for GE. Wall Street's logic is that the new regime will have dumped everything under the sun into this quarter...
As the saying goes you can polish and polish, but a turd is still a turd.

I'm not used to this whole East Coast time on an Apple event. I'm sure there's been some, but for the most part since departing MacWorld NY or Boston, they've been on Pacific time. We're ready for a few new computers here. I'd like a good spec'd mini to replace my 24" iMac, though I keep being tempted to build a machine myself, after exploring the x86 stuff 6-7 years ago.

Proprietary Apple chips just left everyone else in the dust. No one will be able to compete for a looooong, looooong time -- during which time, Apple will continue to evolve.

I loved the morphing Apple logo at the beginning. Wish Apple would make that a screen saver...
Hint, Hint.

Now down 10%

Consider that in the US, Walmart, the largest retailer does not accept Apple Pay. They are not the only ones.
