Have a great day. Let's make money.
is there an echo in here? (is there an echo in here?)
Stating the obvious... nothing - nothing - with aapl matters in the short-term against the backdrop of the trade war, with aapl uniquely vulnerable.
so no... we can't "make money" until that bullshit is resolved... (unless gambling on weekly put options constitutes making money)
it is telling that the dungeon is way more active than the intraday - this is turning from aapl finance board to trump fan club... the one person who made some sense in past month (lstream) was effectively driven out as his posts were either deleted or moved, or he got an earful from a mod... way to go, afb peeps
Oh well, back to my my chemistry "hobby" as a source of income... at least that one's steady here in sunny burque. ๐น๐น๐น ๐ต๐ต๐ต

mACD is still going down so further downside is not surprising
Of course I got in too early but that is the risk with short term options.
RSI is 30 so that should have been buy signal.
Trump and latest tweet on Mexico will drive us down tomorrow
I still think it is short term and we should be going back over 200.

Thank you WalterWhite (I do miss Breaking Bad) in explaining why there are so few comments, I looked at the Dungeon. Wow. Yes, I'm a long time sporadic lurker from the old site. Hope Lstream is still around.

Awwww, I was hoping today was going to be a 0 reply day. Looking at the history, March 5th was the last time that happened. Once you've lived through a few of these, you begin to pick up on the patterns, whether it's how you feel about it, or how others react. Take the blaming outside factors, or an unfair valuation. It happens. And some of it is outside factors. But at some point, it does come back to the stock. A Ferrari, or a volkswagon, still has some intrinsic value even if there is a scandal or some outside factors, or even inside factors. Having the group go quiet says something. It's different with mostly longer term investors than options investors, even if some of them having been investing nearly as long. But it is the "throwing in the towel" point. And depending on how that aligns with the general investor, that can be a signal. As far as politics, there's really not much posted in the dungeon. I'm happy that it's going there, but each time someone says there's a bunch of action there, I'm surprised to look and see just a couple posts from the day. As far as Lstream, he's been gone for a while before, and only had 1 post deleted. While not ideal in hindsight, nothing ever is. He, and everyone else, was asked if they wanted to be moderators. Like the longer half of today's thread, crickets were all that was heard. Like people losing interest (temporarily) in the stock in this part of the cycle, that is telling. OTOH, I do get a kick out of your personification of the Walter White character. Sadly even as a Chemical Engineer with a sister who's a HS Chemistry teacher, I never got into the show. But I like that you went full bore into it. Similarly, but completely unrelated to Apple and AAPL, I really like it when something complex turns out to be fairly simple. Today's instance of that was a manual transmission on a 4Runner which started popping out of gear. Instead of an expensive rebuild, all it took was 20 minutes and a new $12 OEM shifter seat. If only it was more common that complex or frightening (we can even call it "wall of worry") problems had such easy solutions. Or maybe they do. Buy? Buy. BUY! Bye-Bye

Yeah, kinda doldrums for our favorite stock, in the midst of a larger financial and political drama. Not sure that the upcoming event will be enough to provide at least a small kick. Here's one man's guess: Apple WWDC 2019: keynote date and what to expect. Had to chuckle at the predicted the medication reminder app (did someone say the customer base is getting older ?) being named Dose. I don't have a WATCH or need for the Mac Pro so I'll be interested to hear the reactions from folks who do. I am sure the press is expecting an update on subscriptions for the recently announced services.

Had to chuckle at the predicted the medication reminder app (did someone say the customer base is getting older ?) being named Dose. Dose or the like seems like an obvious low hanging fruit, what with seeing all the pills (OTC, prescription, and supplements) that some people take. But I've also considered writing an app for that, mainly for tracking multiple people. When one of us is sick, and especially when multiple kids are sick, there are some times where it really pays to be right on schedule. With multiple parents giving medicine, and potential 2am doses, we just start tracking it with a sticky note inside the cupboard door. The low tech version might work, but a high-tech option could include an alarm, dosing info, and even keeping track of when your stash is getting low. A bottle of kids Ibuprofen or allergy medicine becomes pretty important at 2am with a puking, fevering or otherwise sick kid. I think there's already some app options on there, but in this day and age Apple tends to go after some of the ideas out there, improving the end user experience with integration and availability at a minimum. But back to the stock, even if the multiple seems unjust, things could be much much worse. At least we aren't getting shareholder letters like this: ""We are truly sorry for these results stated above," he said in a letter to shareholders. "Negligence nor mismanagement nor woeful acts of God were not the reasons โ much of this was the result of injustice!" He made an unusual comparison between LaCroix and people who are physically disabled, adding that managing a brand is similar to "caring for someone who becomes handicapped."" www.cnn.com/2019/05/30/business/lacroix-sales/index.html
