So got a bit of pleasant shock this am: checked my Brokerage AC by habit and they had awarded the Post Split Shares but not yet adjusted the price, resulting in a low 7 figure number $1.5 M🎉
Sadly tho not all in Avaiable Balance otherwise I’d be halfway to New Zealand by now....

Same here in our Fidelity account. Sure looks nice, though! It’s all just paper profits.

Great news on the we chat ban - I was nervous when I saw that. Good for Tim and others to back-channel with the cooler heads in Washington. Yes, a 9 figure bunp in the brokerage accounts - insane - I don't see us quadrupling in value soon, but perhaps a double in 10-11 years to 3.5 trillion (after buybacks) not so nuts either - i.e. $1000, or $250 post split? Am I nuts? - I would need a a few more new category smash hits - i.e. Apple car, Apple AR glasses, and whatever else they are cooking up in their super secret bunkers. AAPL was the first stock the wife and I ever bought back in 2007 and it's been very good to us. Cheers longs $$$$-

It’s all just paper profits. Yes, but I like paper profits so much better than paper losses. LOL! After all the excitement here, I logged on to see paper losses on TDA. Looks like they still have the old share count and price (on some accounts), but they split the options already. So 50 Jan '22 540's split to 200 Jan '22 135's. As covered calls, that stings a bit....on temporary paper. I remember back in '99, maybe when they were still Datek, when they'd send out margin calls each quarter when AAPL would halt while they were announcing earnings. They're generally good, but occasionally they screw up and look like a tiny shop, until you compare them to the likes of IB. Memories!

Of course that's what happened. Here's how you tell: The stock suddenly drops below a strike in the last 10 or 5 minutes on a Friday, and closes below that strike. And then the stock immediately trades above that strike in the aftermarket. No Gregg Thurman that is not perfect pricing by the market. They are called "market makers" for a reason. Anyway, my Schwab account currently claims I am rich enough to own my own jet. Working on a wire transfer right now. Edit: My friend has TDA and they did the opposite: Split his equity value but not his shares. But my TDA Roth has already split my option spreads (e.g., 123.75-125) but left the balance the same.

I just checked my Fidelity accounts and they show the post split price and quantity, I like seeing big numbers like that.
