I've been surprised Apple doesn't have this on "Find My iPhone" in general. We don't use it that much, but by using it I can save all of those calls of "Where are you?" It's pretty easy to see that she is at the grocery store, or the school, or the beach, or 2 blocks away and almost home. And it's helpful when we're "together" but not, like when skiing, or even when at Costco. OTOH, I could see how it could quickly get out of hand, with someone tracking their spouse all the time. I'm surprised that Apple doesn't show a colored dot that you are being tracked. Maybe it does now, since it was added for other things. Even the Camera app turns on the one for GPS for a bit, including a few seconds after you leave the app. A little green, a little red. And the stock is right back where it was 7-8 days ago. Will it tick up out of this funk today, maybe even to 125 as it did on the 23rd? It looks like most days lately have had a spread of at least 4 points, so let's see where this day takes it.

Ok AAPL, now you've done it. The stock is where it was 3 months ago, though it looks like the 118 level is holding.
So I bought a bit! Some at 119.22, some at 118.76, for a nice average of just under 119.
It's hard to say where the stock will go in the short term. But in the medium and long term, this looks like a good (but not great) price.
(BTW, what's interesting to me is that on today's chart, the volume is nearly constant. There's no big upticks at these lows, or at the highs. Maybe someone big is selling some, over days. No matter, just an observation)

Even the Camera app turns on the one for GPS for a bit, including a few seconds after you leave the app. Apparently they changed it from "Find my iPhone" to "Find My" a few releases back. And now it has TONS of stuff in it. When I look at mine, it has about 30 devices listed in it. It has my iPhone and all my old iPhones (8 of them, including one that is marked as "Erase pending"), it has my Macs, my iPads, it has all my wife's devices, and each of my kids devices, including things like airpods. If I wanted some stock around 118-119 today, instead of buying directly, I'd be tempted to sell the 119 puts that expire tonight. Either I would get my 1000 shares at a net price of about $118.10, or I would end up keeping the $900 premium and trying again next week.

And yes the most disturbing part of this sell off is how constant and orderly it seems. With the exception of Monday’s dead cat bounce, there’s no demand or volume...

Well perhaps this is just the self-serving justification of a dedicated long, but after the fireworks of the past year or so, we were due for a puzzling period of AAPL stasis. It almost seems as if the Market is locked in with this ordinarily being a relatively quiet period for Apple/AAPL and have chosen to ignore the unusually great recent financial results due to the schedule adjustments caused by COVID. OTOH, MacRumors is already looking ahead with iPhone 13 Rumor Recap: Smaller Notch, Larger Batteries, 120Hz for Pro Models, Improved 5G, Wi-Fi 6E, and More. My expectation is that the expanded 5G availability will continue to spur excellent iPhone results going forward. Add in the ongoing revelations of Apple Silicon and this could just be the pause that refreshes. Of course, getting folks back to work may be the most important factor.

Tim just needs to keep reminding the Masters that security of the phone depends on the security of the store. Non-issue. Senate can't even vote to increase minimum wage. Curious term publishing its own apps?

This sell off has effected China. Today there is some upside in the China stocks but not in the EV area which was the talk of the Great Wall for the last several months. Still don't know what's going on there.

Now this is a decent reversal day, particularly in the S&P. AAPL still lagging SPY but we might have seen the bottom.
Market fluctuations could be related to the stimulus bill. Monday’s pop came after the passage of the bill in the House, and it’s looking likely today that the Senate will pass it this weekend. Hopefully they do and Monday will be up.

Ms. Warren is, of course, one of my Senators. I put a message on her Web site today, explaining why Apple running the App store is actually a good thing for App Store customers and not necessarily a bad thing for other vendors. I figure every little bit helps, and being a constituent may add a bit more weight.
