I just checked out the first episode of 1971 on Apple TV+. I am thinking that there are enough geezers here to really appreciate the power of music from that year. Some incredible archive footage. Worth a look if you have a subscription.

Awaiting delivery of the new Apple TV 4K, I've been holding onto the HD version from 2015 assuming the next update was right around the corner. Good riddance to the terrible prior gen remote! I find the Apple Original shows on TV+ to be very good overall. Quality over Quantity.

I'd be willing to bet a gold guinea that Apple begins to climb as soon as the EPIC suit is resolved and EPIC's FUD campaign is over.

I'd be willing to bet a gold guinea that Apple begins to climb as soon as the EPIC suit is resolved and EPIC's FUD campaign is over. Seems like that, combined with the WWDC lead-out, should be enough to get things moving a little. But general positiveness for the market as a whole would be a nice catalyst too.

The market as a whole is doing great. The S&P 500 is up 12.5% year-to-date and only 1.5% below its all time high.

Seems like that, combined with the WWDC lead-out, should be enough to get things moving a little. But general positiveness for the market as a whole would be a nice catalyst too. The market as a whole is doing great. The S&P 500 is up 12.5% year-to-date and only 1.5% below its all time high. Looking at the last month, the S&P is down a little bit, and down from the ATH. It's not down a lot, but being down any month over month is a lot different than the last 6 months and year look. And even most of the last 5 years. But, that's how you keep from getting to too frothy of a top. If it only seems like the stock, or the market, can go up, eventually it won't. But if there is some regrouping from time to time, putting in just enough uncertainty and doubt, things can then keep climbing for a while more. In the article with 4-5 reasons to buy before WWDC, he felt a 60-70 point run in the next 6-9 months was possible. It seems possible to me, but maybe only with a 5% chance of happening. But it does seem like some rise will happen, so it's just a matter of levels and likelihood, while Apple keeps things going on their side. I'd love to see $175+ this year, and it might happen. But I'd be worried if AAPL's run was mostly due to good earnings, while the market made a similar run without the numbers to back it up. We'll see. I think AAPL might need the push of the whole market to make that run, even if it does have the numbers. But, if it does, and if the market's push isn't justified, it could be short lived like in '00.

Worth a look if you have a subscription. Graduated in 71. The 70’s were a Epic decade of music creation. Yes, The Who, Floyd etc. my favorites, too many great bands to mention. Followed by the 80’s. It will never be matched.

Another Deadhead here. Saw GD for the first time May 5, 1968 at Central Park. After that I saw them as much as I could. I still listen to their music and have been to both Bob Weir's club and Phil Lesh's club
