Thoughts on how they could breathe life back into the stock? Bigger buy back, dividend or another split? Say a 10 for 1😁

Thoughts on how they could breathe life back into the stock? Bigger buy back, dividend or another split? Say a 10 for 1😁 I know where you’re coming from but I doubt Apple spends time worrying about the stock price. I think they pretty much focus on making great products that people love while knowing the stock price and everything else will fall into place if they are successful in their execution. They are great at thinking long term while executing brilliantly on a day to day basis imo. I on the other hand have observed the stock price every day for close to 15 years, prolly a little obsessive.

Silkstone, I share your obsession, but I am getting better. Somedays I don't check more than 5 times, usually, these days fall on weekends

Acting like a leaky balloon. Every bounce is sold.

Am I wrong in thinking that unless you need to sell now the low stock price is a gift to Apple. They get a lot of shares for their 90 billion authorization at $125 than $175. Long since 2000 not planning on selling any shares

Bigger dividend might increase the stock price. No company with Apple's cash flow has ever dramatically and consistently increased the dividend so that is unknown territory. Wall street likes the buy back. Getting to Apple tv on my LG is such a hassle it makes it practically useless even if free for a year. LG makes a good tv but no updates.
Apple needs to start buying content if they are serious about delivering media, Netflix and SiriusXM radio. They need a bank of copyright songs, tv and films. Make them of good quality and available to iPhone owners. Howard Stern might be worth the price of the entire company.

Perhaps a lack of resolution of the Epic vs. Apple soap-opera is the reason for the constant range/bound limbo - which in of itself is insane - very unlikely this is going to go Epic's way in any meaningful fashion, but the POSSIBILITY of AAPL having to open up it's IOS to 3rd party "comerce" would blow the whole subscription, software as service model out of the water. I think given AAPL's lack of total users on IOS (vs. Android app store) this is no way their hand could be forced legally. Even worst case, it would be appealed to death, for years... eventually we'll return to the stock reflecting the amazing #s we're putting up each and every quarter.
We've done this before - sat range/bound for months, even years, and then a burst will send us to the next leg up - keep an eye on the longer term charts - they are still very bullish with very strong support.. Best of luck all, and if you want more excitement, go ahead and buy the meme ticker of your choice. I'd love for AAPL to be closer to fair value and ATH's but I know my money safe and when we're "down" it's a function of the market, not of the quality of the buisness - which is the envy of the world, a cash generation machine.

If you believe there is some control of the share price by the "maximum pain" effect, the next few weeks are a head-scratcher. Max pain looks at all the expiring calls and puts, and finds the strike price that expires the most value considering all the open interest. This week and for the next 5-6 weeklies it is at $125-$126, but on the monthly expirations (June 18 and July 16) it is at $130. This is probably because those options have been on the market for many months, and a lot of people expected a $130 call to be well in the money by this June and July. Alas, not so. But will $130 be a magnet for the share price come June 18? For weekly options players these kinds of things matter. Normally I am delta neutral, selling equal numbers of weekly put and call contracts, but this year I am leaning bullish because AAPL should go up! So let's get on with it and make those analysts look good with their rosy price targets.

Epic Case, US Gov't anti-trust, EU anti-trust, lawsuits re: unfair business practices, ending of unemployment coverage, inflation, increased cap gains and income taxes. IMO, all of these things are a lodestone around AAPL's stock price. And against this, Apple's margins and high profitability appears to be at a peak and at risk. Until there is suitable resolution/direction for the Apple's finances moving forward, despite the good quarterly numbers, I believe there will be hesitation in the market.
