Good morning! Somehow today I’m in a good mood. No reason for it but there ya go. AAPL all the way to the moon. How are *you* gonna change the world today?

Not sure if this is a negative. US wanted 21%, only got 15% If this is eventually more broadly agreed to and implemented, it may stabilize overall tax rates.

Could this make the issue of repatriating foreign income moot? That would be a bonus, if true on past profits. Though even if just on new profit, you'd just slowly run down the local past profits over time. 15% vs Ireland's current 12.5% shouldn't be an issue, though the simplifications might also cut out certain deductions and such. It seems like no one has a simple tax code. But it's the crazy times where someone wants to double the tax rate that things get crazy.

Quick check, Ireland isn't part of the G7. Would this apply to them?

Quick check, Ireland isn't part of the G7. Would this apply to them? They need buy-in from everyone, but it first went to the G7, and then is supposed to go to the G20 this summer, with implementation later. At least that's what one of the articles I believe Chinacat posted this weekend said.

As was hoped for last week, ID being added to Apple Wallet. :-) Yep! And Craig added the iPad Frisbee feature. So many new features I will never likely use.

And Craig added the iPad Frisbee feature. That would be a funny hack to add to the disc golf apps.

Wow, another Green Day for AAPL. Now, what should I do with all of those pennies? At least we stayed in the channel.

My wife and I both enjoyed the WWDC21 kickoff address this morning. We thought it was really well done and are looking forward to the release of the new software revealed. In what I'm sure was a coincidence, shortly after the kickoff was over, I got an iMessage from our 15-year old grandson: "When will be a good time to buy AAPL?" My reply: "Hey, it's always a good time to buy AAPL. 😂" I then messaged him this more detailed response: I didn't really give it much thought until recently, but someone who auto-reinvests their quarterly AAPL dividends is really saying that if you're holding the stock for years, anytime *is* a good time to buy AAPL. Granted, some folks can time the bottoms pretty well, I just don't happen to have that ability, as I already proved to myself years ago.

Rolling in the dough.....but at only pennies, it's a little lumpy. If it goes up 7 cents a day (1+6 aftermarket), and there are 250 trading days a year, that's $17.50 ... which would be a 13.8% gain from here over a year.
