Mark Gurman: The Apple TV box has lost its purposeSome interesting comments in the comments section. I recently upgraded to the new 4K AppleTV and I’m really enjoying the new remote design. Never thought that I would be enjoying a on/off button so much. What a great idea.

Yet another Apple Watch saves life story. If you have an Apple Watch, set up the emergency contact. If you don't have one, get one.

It had just been sitting there, not plugged in. They've had it for a few years now, bought when they first came out (ie at higher prices, so less likely that the brand cut corners on batteries). They put the fire out quickly, before the firefighters got there. This sort of thing happened when they first came out, often while charging, but various items with lithium Ion batteries have had problems over the years, including some Apple products. money.cnn.com/2016/01/20/technology/amazon-hoverboards-cpsc/index.htmlCrazy If Apple ends up making a car (seems likely at this point), and uses LFP, we'll just have to see how much the battery drops off in cold temps. But given some car-makers seemingly poor decisions at times, I think Apple has room to make a dent if they want to.
