I try to remember to use Apple Pay everywhere I can, aside from Costco where I have their credit card. When visiting Europe a couple years ago, nearly every place worked since they were nearly all set up for contactless payments. Here, most places work that have contactless payments. Raleys/Ace Hardware/Trader Joes/In-n-Out. It was nice to have face id working again for a bit, but putting in a passcode when wearing a mask isn't tough. I hadn't done in app purchasing with Apple Pay until a couple weeks ago when purchasing Ferry tickets. My parents wanted to put it on their credit card, but it wouldn't even give me the option of a non-Apple Pay option. It made it quick and easy, and made me not worried about putting a credit card into a one-time-use (for me) app or website.

China mega collapse: Things the Chinese government is stopping. Note unlike ours with various fines and regulations which have work arounds in place as soon as they are written the Chinese can actually force these businesses to comply. So this is what Wall Street finds so alarming?
"They include exploiting users’ data to put them off competitors’ products or services, limiting traffic to other platforms by practices such as blocking hyperlinks, false advertising, fraudulent online reviews and consumer privacy abuses. The new rules, which could come into force later this year, come after the Chinese Communist party made antitrust regulation central to a broad campaign to limit behaviour by internet groups that it considers damaging to social stability and national security."
