More negativity from me, sorry I know it's hard to hear. On the TA side, today was bad. Very bad. Today's action broke the multi-month trendline that AAPL has bounced off of several times. Unless it reverses above this line by the close today, TA would imply that there is more downside in the days ahead. The S&P is also flirting with a break of crucial support. Two weeks ago, I posted this. The break of this trendline led to more down for AAPL... S&P also broke its support and has whooshed down. Although this might feel like the spot to back up the truck, remember the stock is still trading at 28 PE which is historically high for AAPL. If you love the stock at 142, you might really love it at 135 or 125.

"PED has Apple makes another App Store concession. Judging from the reviews shown this may not have been the best idea, however appropriate." Every improvement has made the podcast app worse. Years ago when you had to sink it manually with the iMac it worked great. Now Apple is going the way of all tech and trying to sell you junk you don't want. The interface is an advertisement not tool to listen to the podcast you want to hear. Apple has made lots of these kinds of consumer non friendly changes like preventing one from making ringtones from songs. That used to be totally simple, now impossible. There is a difference between an App and an Advertisement.

Not a very attractive close.

Not a very attractive close. Yeah, I just don't understand the market action today. AAPL seemed to rise and fall all day long with no discernible pattern...well, certainly with no pattern similar to other popular technical stocks. /s

Overnight futures pointing to another gap down tomorrow, at least so far.
