Why the hell is AAPL up almost 3% when the SPY is only up less than 1%. Am I doing this right?

Why the hell is AAPL up almost 3% when the SPY is only up less than 1%. Am I doing this right? It depends. Which one do you hold more of? Is AAPL headed towards TSLA's P/E of 389? Now that really would be a climb! Sometimes these quick jumps get people day dreaming too much. Enjoy the jump, but be realistic about forward guesstimates.

Did Apple have any part in this? While the name "WristMac" suggests it, it looks more like this was just a name slapped on it, and I see no real mention of Apple. Apple has made things, available in the US or elsewhere, that are unknown to most. This doesn't seem quite right, but it's always hard to say. I just would have expected an Apple logo if it was actually made by/for Apple. I have an analog Apple watch, from maybe 1997, bought at the on-campus Apple store.

It’s been an awesome week for AAPL!
Now solidly above RSI 70, which has historically been a good spot to lighten up trades. It’s hard to sell when things are screaming higher, but I don’t think we’ve seen the 150s for the last time…

Most things from Apple, even the odd ones, have an Apple logo somewhere. eMates. TechStep. ImageWriter (obviously from Apple, but not much styling). I don't know either way and am just wondering. The page seems well crafted to specifically not say that it was made by Apple.

Whenever I've seen these video clips on the Yahoo! Finance page, I just assumed they were about "Stocks on the move" in an *upward* direction. I stand corrected. 😎 Oh, and AMZN is down 2.31% at this moment.

The superstition is pushed to the side....even if that was more of what lavish vehicle purchase you would make, while feeling flush on an AAPL upswing. RIVN is down as a partnership with Ford looks to fall through...meaning Ford likely will go it alone. Add in Apple, and others, and the pot is getting split more and more. Tesla has a good percentage now, but being at the bottom on the Consumer Reports Reliability list, tying the likes of Jeep, ain't so good. It's one thing when people are buying the only choice, or buying the trendy choice. At some point, reliability matters, at least for some. Jeep, and the very bottom Lincoln, still manage on with high popularity in certain niches. But it must make things harder, with at least one strike against you. www.sfgate.com/tech/article/Tesla-ranks-almost-dead-last-Consumer-Reports-16632996.php?IPID=SFGate-HP-Editors-Pickswww.cnbc.com/2021/11/18/consumer-reports-2021-auto-reliability-survey-how-tesla-evs-fared.htmlIt will be interesting to see how much of a lead Tesla has when some of these other big companies hit it hard, and that will help define how long TSLA can hold on to such a lofty valuation. It's possible for it to keep going on. But it seems much more probable that it will end at some point, if they don't maintain a technological lead over the coming competition.

I thought the market might crater because of the acts of violence and terror over the weekend. These mass robberies are scary as hell. And what happened in Waukesha is not excusable. We are becoming a Middle East country rocked by divisions that last millennia. But the market went up. Forecasts that the economic situation is getting better may be right. EPS ultimately is the driver of the car in Apple's case. So to speak...

Now that really would be a climb! No. Because "they" would complain that Apple isn't a pure play on EVs (with GMs in the 20s, maybe 30s). Apple also makes those pesky computers and handheld computing devices (with GMs in the 40s or higher).
