Looks like the Bloomberg story is having some impact. Buying opportunity?

Absolutely: short sellers starting to throw up chaff to save their bacon.
Scuttlebutt amoung the primary care community in johannasberg is this variant is perhaps a bit more contagious but much less virulent. Mild flu.
If this falls into mid 150s I’m buying more. The next 18 months for apple is going to be huge.

Looks like the Bloomberg story is having some impact. Buying opportunity? I looked at what I found about that Bloomberg “report” and it seems to me that this is the usual thing where they up orders for the holidays and then they warn suppliers that they will cut after the holidays. Would be interesting to check how many of this kind of reports we got in the past around this time of the year, though. This is all based on what I seem to remember. Luckily yesterdays afternoon fall triggered some buying of outs on my account.

Hmm, the anonymous report from the always reliable channel check.
How many times have we heard about Apple's redundant supply chain, usually after the fact? Even Cook said it's a terrible barometer of sales.

I just said the same thing, an hour later, into yesterday's thread. aaplfinance.proboards.com/post/125739/threadSometime Walter should ask Tim about this sort of thing in general, well after the fact. It seems a common thing. But, wallstreet is a jumpy group, always trying to get the lead on the competition. Differentiating between small expected changes in orders, and big changes, seems important. OTOH, if some investors are ready to jump ship, it might not matter what exactly caused them to sell.
