Yesterday was quite a drop. On the other hand, we now have an RSI of below 56.

Yes, there's clear evidence again today that the market always makes perfect, logical sense...because everyone that participates in the stock market is a serious investor. /s AAPL: -1.15% GameStop Corp: +5.06 AMC: +16.24% BlackberryLimited: +4.1%

Yes, there's clear evidence again today that the market always makes perfect, logical sense...because everyone that participates in the stock market is a serious investor. /s If the market was always priced perfectly, there would be a lot less potential reward from a mismatch, but also a lot less reward due to lower volatility (thus perceived as lower risk). $170 is still a lot higher than a few months ago, and without the trip up to $182 it would feel great. It's still pretty good, even with a different perspective.

MM's trying to kill those $172.50's. I'll be glad when this week is over. I feel like Homer in that Simpsons episode (back decades ago when they were funny and relevant) where they go to that marriage counseling retreat and Marge just downloads on him for like 2 hours and he's just eviscerated.

4 cents off the "record high close" from December 7th, 9 trading days ago.
I'd like some new ATH's, and a push up to 190 would have been nice. But it will get there eventually, and in the mean time it was nice to take a break from moving snow, and instead bring my daughter over to the ski resort for a bit.

Off topic but I wanted to report how my Apple Card was exposed a month ago. Received a letter yesterday from Tennis Warehouse. I’m a avid Tennis player and buy stuff from them.
1. This letter is to provide you with information about a data security incident that may have affected your payment card information. The privacy and security of your personal information is extremely important to us as we very much appreciate your business and your confidence in us. We are sending this letter to notify you of the incident, to provide you with information about the nature of the incident, and the steps you can now take to protect your personal information. As a result of this incident, we have partnered with IDX to provide you this notification. 2. What Happened. On October 15, 2021, Tennis Warehouse, LLC ("Tennis Warehouse") became aware of a potential data security incident. We immediately began an internal investigation and engaged an independent computer forensics firm to determine whether any personal information was affected in the incident. The investigation has been extensive, requiring the analysis of a substantial amount of digital evidence. On November 6, 2021, the investigation determined that payment card information was obtained without authorization on October 1, 2021. On November 29, 2021, the investigation determined that your payment card information may have been affected during the incident.
Tennis Warehouse was the entity that refunded the amount while at the same time Goldman temporary credited me. This caused some confusion on my part when Goldman told me I lost my case against the perpetrators but it was because the business already refunded the amount.
Tennis Warehouse doesn’t have Apple Pay so I used the card number to pay

Thanks for the update macster.
Some people do a good job of segregating their usage between multiple cards. I have a card or two that have been open for 25+ years now, though they don't have some of the benefits our other cards have. I tend to use those for occasional online purchases, though it sounds like that wouldn't be the case here. I normally also don't save my CC info on a site, and just had to tell me insurance agent today that I didn't want her to save my credit card info, but I suppose that wouldn't help if transactions or some sort of sniffer/skimmer was in place.
This sort of thing seems to happen too much, while more standard things raise flags. Years ago my account was flagged and I got a text, when buying a carton of ice cream and it was rung up again when the first attempt said it failed. For $4. Now the CC/merchant shuts down the gas pump at $100, even though I am consistently putting in that much when getting 33-34 gallons. Costco keeps on going...but then taps out at $150, which I hit with 34 gallons on the truck and a few jerry cans for the snowblowers.
But the last major hiccup we had was a $1000 purchase of roofing, and then another $10k. That didn't flag anything! Luckily it's been a couple years since that one.
(EDIT: looks like I didn't make it clear. Those $1k and $10k roofing charges were phony, made by someone else. That didn't raise any flags, until I called and said they weren't mine)
I was hoping the Apple Card or Apple Pay would help cut this stuff out. And it might, though I thought even the one time use numbers were supposed to be just that.

I've had my Apple Card since week 1 ... and it's still in the brown wrapper it arrived in. I use it only via mac and iPhone! It's on autopay and I've never seen a bill, I'm not even sure if they have such a thing as a "bill".
