I am putting Neil Young on endless repeat even when I am sleeping. Way to go Neil and Apple Music!! This is much more than a revenue issue.

Very nice follow-through today, so far. All AAPL signs are for more gains next week, but there are larger pressures on the market (Fed, Ukraine, etc.). Don't forget ex-div is next Friday too. Will buyers show up to get in on that? Any dividend is nice, but 0.6% per year seems like a paltry yield. Options players need to watch for dividend grabbers calling away your stock next week if you have short ITM calls, e.g., covered calls.

Wednesday: Here are the stats for the past 24 hours: Users Online in the Last 24 Hours 4 Staff, 34 Members, 279 Guests. And now the stats for the past 24 hours. Thanks everyone, not just for reading, but also logging in and being part of the fun. With earnings now being known, and after a bit of lower gains this morning but now up to around +9, a lot of the newsworthy stuff is already out there. The question now is how the stock, and market, will do in the coming 1-4 weeks or so. If you haven't in a while, try to post about something. Apple, AAPL, or finance. There's a wide swath to pick from, and I look forward to hearing from some people we haven't seen in a while. Thanks!

Worth a read. Open in Safari's reader mode. (Bloomberg Opinion) -- I have always believed we need more bipartisanship in Washington, but just because an idea is bipartisan doesn’t make it good. A bill now making its way to the Senate floor is a perfect example. Few bills in recent memory have been as misleadingly titled as the “American Innovation and Choice Online Act.” It takes a swing at big tech companies but would hit American consumerRead more at: www.bloombergquint.com/gadfly/the-american-innovation-and-choice-online-act-is-a-bipartisan-bad-ideaCopyright © BloombergQuint An aide to one of the bill’s sponsors summed up the answer perfectly: “If we make carveouts for all the pro-consumer features, then the bill will be useless.” That is exactly right — and why the bill should be defeated.

Listening to Joe Rogan on Music before the cancel culture Bolsheviks censor more free speech. Don’t really care for either. But politics finds its way into everything.

Last I looked Joe Rogan is not a politician. Just a societal parasite who makes a fortune spreading lies and disinformation. Which is not at all comparable to the content you posted. Which also happens to kill people who believe him. I am glad Neil Young took a stand on principle. He kind of cancelled himself considering that Spotify accounted for about 60% of his streaming revenue. And kudos to Apple for featuring him.

An example of your tribalism that surely is politics related but… It’s ok but he’s a comedian. Comedians are known quantities, we all have a choice without cancel culture participation. Just don’t start a 50 mile truck caravan to Ottawa in protest of Rogan because of a few Covid untruths he spread from medical professionals like Malone. 😉

Wonder how our precious will handle the news. CNN: President Biden told Ukrainian President Zelensky that a Russian invasion of Ukraine is now virtually certain and that they need to prepare for impact, according to officials to CNN.

Kind of a low content post. Dropped by the Apple store today to do a pickup. Ended up having a delightful conversation with a young associate who was helping me. She was working in a school where she helped autistic children. Covid basically killed that job for her, since she could not do it remotely. She had previously applied at Apple, and never got a reply. She tried again and got in. Her enthusiasm for Apple products and the job was so fun to listen to. We had a great discussion about HomeKit, Starlink, and some other stuff. What a delight! Apple is lucky to have people like this.

Any real vax scientist would welcome criticism and challenge from the inventor of RNA vaccines. In related news, the cornerstone of religion is faith. Neil has sure changed since 1970's protest songs against the Man.

The grade 9 French teacher told him that he would never amount to anything since he sucked so bad in that class.

So good to see aapl have a well deserved rally today and have it hold, as it should after such a stellar quarter.
Wednesday there were discussions of some being off 7 figures stemming from the market turmoil. My portfolio is up 7 figures on the day as I'm sure some others here are also!
Here's to some follow through next week and a return to less market volatility.
Have a good weekend everyone!
