I'm guessing that $147.xx is in our future as it may be the next support.

I'm guessing that $147.xx is in our future as it may be the next support. Looks like the 160.xx from Wednesday's close did it this time. Hard to tell these days, and many/most things are outperforming AAPL. But calmness or even mild green is creating more support, though on smaller volume than yesterday.

That was quite a trading week. Here is Ye Olde Weekly Chart -- channel intact, pivot line saved by a thread.

Ukrainian leader calls on Tim Cook to block Russian users from the App Store
In an open letter published Friday afternoon, the Vice Prime Minister of Ukraine, Mykhailo Fedorov, called on Apple to stop supplying products and services to Russian users as a response to the country’s ongoing invasion. “I appeal to you,” Fedorov wrote in the letter, published through his Twitter account, “to stop supplying Apple services and products to the Russian Federation, including blocking access to App Store!”
“We are sure that such actions will motivate youth and active population of Russia to proactively stop the disgraceful military aggression,” Fedorov continued. More than 50,000 Russian troops have entered Ukraine, according to Pentagon estimates, and satellite imagery suggests an attack on the capital of Kyiv may be imminent. The site of the Chernobyl nuclear disaster was taken by Russian forces on Thursday, raising concerns about the ongoing management of radioactive materials there. The fighting has already caused tens of thousands of Ukrainians to flee their homes as refugees, according to United Nations estimates. On Thursday, the White House issued a broad package of sanctions in response to the invasion, including measures that prevent Apple and other US companies from providing services to the Russian military or ministry of defense. But Fedorov’s request goes further, calling on the company to discontinue service to the country at large. Apple did not respond to a request for comment on the letter.
i would love to see Apple help out in this way. Come on Tim, go scorched earth on these mother *******! Prolly wouldn’t have much effect on the stock price, might even give us a little bump.

Apple's in a sticky spot with regard to Russia, because China is supporting Russia's position. And we know how dependent Apple is on staying in China's good graces.

True but it might send a strong message to China at the same time. I doubt if Tim would do it but I’d like to see it. There’s only one way to stop a bully and we all know what it is.

I am concerned that Apple shutting things down in Russia, would benefit Putin more than anyone else. The world needs to see and support any dissent taking place within Russia. And dissenters there need a way to communicate. Making iPhones useless would silence those that must be heard.

Not Apple's job. Really bad precedent.
