Wow, I thought I was done reading after the first review, but there was a whole second one. Monitors, like inkjet and laser printers, are part of that end to end solution that is hard to totally quantify. Apple is already in the screen market, due to iMacs/laptops/iPad/iPhone. But is it really value added to have a stand-alone screen? I didn't think it was, but the article sure pushes it, especially when trying to pair up an additional with an iMac or laptop and wanting it to look fluid, but also doing well at most to all aspects. Apple's focus on the high end fits their other choices. But I sure don't want to see the proprietary connector again, after too many years of that, especially the relatively recent ADC, but even the old SVGA alternative pin style that required adapters.

Wow this board is deader than Truth social today! lol
I've been off enjoying the amazing New Zealand wilderness the last couple of weeks. Good to clear the head and go offline every so often. I should probably do it more regularly! When I left Apple was in the $150s and now we're bumping up against $180 again.
Watched a couple episodes of Severance last night and was knocked out by the quality of it. Perhaps the first show on Apple TV+ that I feel enthusiastic about. A lot of them have been "good" or even "very good," but this one is simply superb. Who knew Ben Stiller had these directing chops?
Anybody taking bets on the divvy increase? I'd be happy with a nice $.25, but knowing Apple we'll probably get $.235 ha

So .235 or 0.24 most likely.

Just read that Severance has already been renewed for a second season, which it richly deserves. You're probably right about the dividend. A quarter might be too much to ask for.
