I'm pretty sure there will be a whole series of M chips. As far as the app store purge, I wouldn't be surprised if it has more to do with app update overload than M chip compatibility. I don't know if y'all have noticed, but I have definitely noticed that app updated have slowed dramatically over the last year or so. Updates used to be speedy fast, now just the part of going through all my apps and checking if an update exists is taking MUCH longer than previously. And the problem is NOT me adding lots of new apps, I probably add one new app every two or three months nowadays. In fact, I've recently started my own purge of sorts; I'm deletig apps that I don't use, or really think I will never use.

Right now, futures pointing to another bloody day in the market tomorrow. This concerns me because AAPL already closed at the bottom edge of the long-term channel on Friday... we may be on the edge of a great abyss.
