More of the same. "Investors" are shocked when the Fed comes out and says that they are going to continue to do what they have planned and talked about, increasing rates to combat inflation, while still giving the same rate expectations that have been given for a few months with the dot charts and comments. Just more human psychology, hoping we are going to round the corner and get out of something we don't like, sooner than expected. But when the kids yell out "are we there yet?", the Fed is being realistic and not sugar coating things by saying "nope, we've still got a ways to go" instead of the "yea, we're almost there" that the kids were hoping for.

I wonder if Apple will consider calling the next iPhone number 15 instead of 14 because 14 is the most unlucky number in Chinese.

I wonder if Apple will consider calling the next iPhone number 15 instead of 14 because 14 is the most unlucky number in Chinese. I'd imagine that since they weren't phased by lucky 13, it won't change. FWIW, as frustrating as it can be from an easy identification standpoint, they haven't had the # on iPhones in a long time, or maybe ever. Same with other things, like the Mac Book, MacBook Air, and MacBook Pro. Or anything I guess, as I sit here staring at my iMac. Sure, there's a part number or something, in small print. Personally, while there might have been a jumble of options between the performa, centris, and quadra lines, at least the "Performa 475", the first Mac I bought new from a store, was easy to identify. Anyways, that makes it easy for Apple to obscure it for various markets, if really needed. Unlike car models, where sometimes a seemingly benign name in one language isn't benign in another. I don't remember exact examples, but I believe Top Gear pointed out a few.

Maybe they'll call it the iPhone XIV ... LOL! Or maybe "iPhone 13S"? Are the rumors of major changes solid this year?
