To mention the Apple Watch notified my nephew of AFIB. Runs in his mothers family though there was talk of Covid vaccine related causes. He’s now being treated and is ok.

Market is just weak sauce right now. Nothing to do with Rosenblatt Securities. Everything to do with the Fed.

My takeaway from the iOS event is, how deeply is Apple going into satellite and what does that mean for the company? Apple's iPhone Satellite Connectivity Might Run Into Starlink's Mobile PushMaybe part of it is just trying to kill Elon's phone in its crib. Apple to be largest user of Globalstar’s satellite network for iPhone messagingApparently the bandwidth is like a 14.4 baud modem right now, so very limited what you can do atm: It does seem that Apple is trying to branch into the extremophile segments, diving, off the grid GPS, and satellite. But still in the early stages: Who knew Garmin had three separate dive watch models? I have cyclist friends who always tell me to get "real" GPS with a garmin device, which I have never needed while mountain biking in some remote areas with my iPhone and a good app like Strava. But I can see why, if Apple is serious about fitness (and it is, with its Fitness+ paid subscription model), it needs to get serious about GPS and satellite connectivity. And battery life.

Market is just weak sauce right now. Nothing to do with Rosenblatt Securities. Everything to do with the Fed. We're about to have a Fed funds rate that is higher than any time in the last 10 years. The last time the Fed funds rate was near this level was early 2019, when AAPL's PE multiple was 12-14. Coincidence? Or a data point that shows how powerful Fed tightening can be to suck liquidity out of the market. At PE of 12-14 with current EPS, AAPL's stock price would be $73-85.

Apple had no wearables (AppleWatch, AirPods) and Services’ rev was only $3B per quarter 10 years ago.

S&P bouncing off 3900 but we will see what tomorrow holds. Surprised Apple's new feature were not perceived by others as great as I thought them? Loved the "Nanny phone" life saving features. Don't get the fury over the notch at the top. Don't even notice it. 27 inch iMac may have passed?

To be hopelessly optimistic one might note the inverse head and shoulders pattern on the weekly chart.

Interesting last couple weeks. The "Investors" article is barely worth linking since they throw shade at AAPL for only going up 10% in the last 3 months instead of the average 16% seen in the past, but then say the S&P is down 3%. Hmmmm Anyways, they do have a good chart with 1-3-6 month backwards looking data on AAPL from before iPhone announcements. At this point I'd rather have 1-3-6 month data looking forward, but it is nice to see that this was one of the rare unicorns of AAPL being down more than a percent in the leading month, down 6.3% while for the 6S AAPL was down 8% in the lead-up month. www.investors.com/etfs-and-funds/sectors/sp500-apples-new-iphone-gets-the-worst-reception-since-iphone-6s/Can't win them all, and there is a bit of background noise out there this time. "The fed said what?" It's all just a game. But sometimes the timing is frustrating.

And right after that, he went to T-Mobile to pitch a mobile / Sat phone. Guess NDAs don't mean much.
