Good morning. Once again we have a green pre-market of +1.05% at this moment. Let’s keep yesterday’s momentum going.

Old M1 iPad Air has gone up in price, not a fan of Apple raising prices mid-cycle. Especially since other retailers like Amazon aren't changing theirs.

Tony Saccconaghi is good at sounding credible and intelligent but, over the years, has been consistently wrong about everything. I'm surprised anyone listens to him.

If AAPL drops 2.5% in 5 min, it does have the power to influence the market. AAPL is 7% of index weight of the S&P

"J.P. Morgan: iPhone 13 vs. iPhone 14 in bar charts" Awful graphics. Graphs communicate visually quickly, not these.

Well, that drop at 2:36pm is probably due to the headline from this story, which appears in news feeds. It's again the same story about Apple cutting production of iphone-not-pro because of larger demand for iphone-pro; and the story only mentions a non-pro model. I guess the usual people pushed the "algo for selling" button once that headline hit... People here know that there is nothing special about these cuts, that they don't correlate with later sales, and that such cuts are only good if they are due to higher demand for the pro versions, thus leading to higher average selling price. Maybe some more traders are now realizing this and aapl is trying to climb up again. Too bad that these kind of stories always appear every year, creating instability.

What a great way to generate your own entry point then for an analyst to publish his worries. You can see in the chart where the buying started and how it quickly recovered. If ya got something that’s working for ya, you stick with it.

Big jump for Netflix after hours.

I agree with the jump. I know a number of people that, more or less, live on Netflix. With a normal internet provider, one has to watch a series on time, or take specific action to record the next item in the series.
Netflix just lets you go back to where you were. No need to record anything, or do something to make it happen.
And you learn the interface, get used to it. A bit more like our friend Apple. I know we believe it to be better, but also, we get used to it. In any case, we learn to really like it. Same for Netflix.
And Netflix is not expensive (relatively speaking), a real plus.

New AppleTV with A15 Bionic New iPad Pro with M2 chip New iPad with A14 I want a new AppleTV ... but my old one works absolutely fine. I can't tell what the differences are, so for now I will wait.
