For those getting all of the snow, stay warm, stay safe, and don't try to do too much at once. Even with a good blower, it can take a lot of work.
If you don't have a blower, but have a neighbor that does, offer them something to borrow it (money, cookies, booze, or whatnot). Even better, have a middle or high schooler take care of it. Even if you normally take care of it yourself.
Likewise, if you are ahead of the game, remember to offer to help a neighbor out.
If need be, call up a snow removal company, for a one-time removal. It will cost more, but is probably well worth it. Though it bugged me my wife paid so much to have a group of 4 remove our snow around new years last year, and it only took them an hour, it was fun to watch the progress on the video camera, while still at the relatives house.
Our foot of snow is slowly melting, but due to the tracking of the jet stream, we often don't get snow when it is hitting the east coast, and vice versa. Temps climbing up to 50 next week should melt the remaining for us, though half of the ski resorts have already opened. We'll see how the season goes.

Yeah not sure wot to think bout the whole Home Sureillance thing...sounds very un-Apple 1984'ish Minority Report'ish, but also buys into the whole notion of be afraid very afraid, all the time.
Like letting anyone buy Battalion Grade Weaponary and then we act surprised when yet another classroom of kids gets murdered.
Sorry I digress Farires and Unicorns Fairies and Unicorns....
