Yep - the headset will be great to keep the market excited about the innovation factor - This is tax loss selling along with general market selloff - as long as we hold around here I think we may be close to the bottom -
Best of luck all for a better 2023!

I believe tax loss selling ended yesterday. Needed time to clear. I bought yesterday with that in mind. Expecting it to go up from here.

The vast majority of economic & finance gurus out there are calling for a recession in 2023, I’m a believer. If true, this will hit everyone’s earnings including Apple.
I will be ready to load up on Apple when things settle down but at this point, I believe a big move down is way more likely than a big move up. Just a damn opinion.

I am feeling pretty pessimistic as well, but I cannot give a reason why. We have avoided a dollar crisis and gov shutdown. Interest rates seem to be reaching a peak at levels that are not unreasonable. ( yes, I remember the 70's) The end of the Saudi energy stranglehold is in sight with the fusion breakthroughs, Employment remains under 5%. The world outside the US has more middle-class consumers than ever before. I don't really see a cause for pessimism. Maybe it is the huge decline in the market. I am down about 2.7 million from January but I would be buying if I had any dry powder or if mortgage rates were lower

Something like a move from 182 to 126? That's a drop of over 30%! ... but I would be buying if I had any dry powder or if mortgage rates were lower You know, I still tell people about how you arbitraged your low-rate mortgage with similar rate dividends from Apple stock back then! One of the most clever moves I've ever seen. I believe tax loss selling ended yesterday. Tax loss selling ends tomorrow. The trade date is what is used for tax reporting.
