I was hoping the highs for the day were going to hold. That would put AAPL at its highest point in nearly 6 months, nearly even with early September, though not quite the days in the 170's in mid August.
OTOH, it's been nearly a month since AAPL has hit its average volume (90 day?). Looks like today might hit or exceed that 73M share mark. So that's something.
It's good to have a decently up day while the averages are near flat. Especially if there are some follow-thru days.

Large gap up so far today. Will this hold? GS has for whatever reason given Apple a push. max Pain is now 150 with spike at 155. next week lower, and following week 165. Strange action in the call sphere.

Occasionally, I get some messages asking how it’s going here in Tahoe. I really need to add an area for off-topic, but non-political stuff. Just a nice place to post things. But the short answer is that we’re getting a lot of snow, and it’s really cold. Apparently almost 5° colder than normal for the winter. And even though though it’s not record moisture, we’re on track for record snow since about 1950. No collapsing roofs, and not as much as four years ago when I could stain the facia board on my roof while standing on snow, on the second floor, but it’s up to the top of the fence again at 6700’, the 4th time in 13 years. And probably 9 feet at higher elevations ( other house at 7500’). Donner snow lab has exceeded 500 inches for the season, and our local ski resort that’s a bit lower and dryer is at 340 inches. That said, they had 30” in a day last week. Didn’t make it. Snow removal, and recovering from being stuck for a bit, just a couple blocks away. But the 21” this Sunday gave fun knee hitting powder. All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy. Here’s the details, from a local weather guy. opensnow.com/news/post/northern-central-sierra-snowfall-stats-as-of-february-28th-2023
