I thought that video about Open AI was a waste of time. Instead of a demo, it was a pedantic collection of hypotheses. Or maybe I am just grumpy today

Or maybe I am just grumpy today Well, I guess that all of you must just be far ahead of me. The majority of the AI articles that I have seen focus almost exclusively on the computational aspect of AI. While that is certainly exciting, I found the transition of using those capabilities to execute action directly in the physical world to be an interesting exploration, even if there have been no groundbreaking successes yet. Please forgive my stupidity/naïveté.

While that is certainly exciting, I found the transition of using those capabilities to execute action directly in the physical world to be an interesting exploration, even if there have been no groundbreaking successes yet. Please forgive my stupidity/naïveté. I like the idea too. Especially since in a perfect world, with good precision and repeatability, you should be able to train it once but repeat it forever. This is like automating software, which is easy as long as things are consistent. It's just that some of these articles and videos make it sound like they are groundbreaking, but are really just rehashing old info. And that can be fine depending on the audience, especially if done well. But it happens all over the place. Even with Scotty Kilmer on something like "Do this when changing your oil", and so I watch the whole video and don't see anything different. Fun times. Looks like the guess someone made about a push down to 190 is happening. The open interest isn't huge, but with nothing else really going on... We're still in this strange middle ground, for AAPL and the market. Maybe things will stay steady for a bit. But I like to think there will be some excitement in AAPL, even if it levels off or is temporary, in the coming 2.5 months.
