From the fantasy of a comic book character (Dick Tracy’s watch) to the reality of everyday life (AppleWatch). This is what technology should look like.

I wonder the same thing. AAPL's rise this last year was terrific. But I wonder if the Vision Pro is an invention in search of a market, if Car Play and the Apple car interface is a wishful imagination, and if other directions are not where the future is. And also, Apple is sooo big, maybe it just cannot move much higher.

Correction and consolidation can be good things with a stock that has had a good long run. It helps to provide resistance and support, a foundation to build on. I’m guessing that the $200 mark may be that for AAPL, or maybe not. We’ll find out next week when Apple reports and Mr. Market reacts. Also, I keep thinking about inflation and the affect that it has on stock prices. How much of a companies stock price is a reflection of the company’s true value or a reflection of inflation? After all, a trillion dollars doesn’t go as far as it once did.
