"Apple’s iPhone Shines Amidst Smartphone Market Slump in Q2" Motorola still makes phones?
Cricket is planning a worldwide expansion maybe Cook should lock up the TV rights to that?
Rebalancing continues with the Nasdaq 100. I thought it was done already?

Depends on how one draws it, but the new weekly trend line (channel) starting from the recent bottom, is steep. With a move sideways it could be breached. The rebalance could have this effect. Most AI stocks are strong except for the ones most effected by rebalancing. Sometimes there is nice uptrend in August immediately undone when the gonsteh machers come back in September. You would think with trading by computers this phenomenon would disappear.

"Apple’s iPhone Shines Amidst Smartphone Market Slump in Q2" Motorola still makes phones? A google search of "who bought motorola phones" pulled up: I thought I remembered the Google purchase. I don't remember Lenovo then buying it from them...or only just barely with the focus on smart phones or their own branded one or something.

I believe the same would happen with one of the more recent AppleWatches too Yep....for better or worse. My parents were visiting for a few days, and we took the paddle boards and kayaks out. My mom was trying out a paddle board, after it had been 4 years since she was on one, and she was having some trouble. She was out with my son and fell in a couple times while trying to stand up...and then she started hearing a strange noise. It was her Apple Watch, saying there was a fall detected, and counting down to trying to call for help. It was probably only that her iPhone was on the shore that we didn't have a call in to the fire department. Yes, she's ok. And she had some more practice later, and did better. I hope there aren't many false alarms. It is a great feature, and I'd hate for emergency services to think of it as falsely calling wolf. I'm sure it gets plenty of testing locally, with various water, snow, and land sports, many of which it is not uncommon to "crash" or have a hard shock.

My question of the day is: Will Apple split AAPL once it cracks the $200 barrier? Perhaps at $240, a 3:1 split to bring the stock under $100 once again. I don't see too many people clamoring for foldable phones. And the press about them hasn't been particularly good. And furthermore, if you can sell an iPhone every 2-3 years, and an iPad every 4-5 years, why on earth sell one device to replace both of them? Obviously if the competition becomes strong enough such that you have to, you do it, but otherwise, why?
