Good morning all. AAPL is currently green by a bit at $184.23 +0.11 (+0.06%)
We had a great run yesterday. Let's see if we can add to that today.

Prefer Artman Green to your ‘bit of Green’ any day. But I’ll still take it.
Bit of a mixed market out there today.

My history with options has been decidedly mixed but locking up some nice gains today in Sept 15 190 calls. Bought these a few weeks ago when I was fairly confident the iPhone event would be Sept 12. I still have some so definitely would love to see this little run continue!

We seem to have lifted above the tide today. A nice bit of green.

I still can’t figure out why someone “like”s their own posts. As my mentor Dr. John Thie said: "If you don't blow your own horn, sometimes it doesn't get blown." With all due respect, why post something if the intent is not to benefit the rest of the group in some way? That’s certainly why I participate in AFB. I have greatly benefited from the perspectives offered by other members, both financially and just by attaining a better understanding of the tech industry in general and Apple in particular. The intent of most of my posts is to provide some information or perspective that will be of benefit to at least a few readers. Perhaps I am naive, but I assume that is the intent of most AFB members. I may not always succeed, but it is the best way that I can express my gratitude. It is certainly not for self aggrandizement. Oh well, as Sly & The Family Stone sang, “Different Strokes for Different Folks.”

FYI Fidelity seems to be experiencing some kinda System Crash, neither the Mobile App or Website is showing AC Information! They are aware of the issue and supposedly being worked on.

Oh well, as Sly & The Family Stone sang, “Different Strokes for Different Folks.” We all have different observations or opinions that we bring to the table. My guess is that Duckpins's quote was more aimed at artman's actions than yours. Either way, sometimes it's hard to find the line between being fun about something you see, and attacking a style or trait. It's easy to be a bit on edge at times, and to take things the wrong way and escalate it. I'm going to try to post a bit less, after Dave pointed out that I might be pushing things too much. And while I didn't see that, I've read a few things on the web in the last few days where I considered people really were pushing their "my way or the highway" view too much. Hopefully most people don't think I do that here, but if it reads that way then I'm sorry about that. In other board news, CdnPhoto is going to be traveling a bit, so won't be able to be one of the people starting the daily thread. We're looking for people to start the daily thread! And I'm going to see about adding an icon or something for those that have started the daily thread in the last month, though probably going back 3 months for now. We'll see. Thanks everyone. We have a great group here. AAPL has been headed up a bit, and the upcoming announcement is less than 2 weeks away.
