Call me pessimistic, but I did not think that AAPL would be knocking on the door of $200 this soon. Mac Rumors has, well, a bunch of rumors in Is Apple Stock A Buy Ahead Of iPhone 15 Introduction?. I’m guessing AFBers say “Yes!” with new releases and the holidays on deck.

Well start of a new month, perhaps we will see the iPhone 15 create some momentum. Enjoy the long weekend, and post if you can. I hope everyone had a great summer. I am optimistic about the rest of the year, but a little apprehensive about 2024

DigiTimes, so grain of salt. Perhaps Apple has cut orders now and won't "cut orders" as much as they usually do after the Holidays. The regular cuts that get reported as doom and gloom.
With global smart phones weak, Apple is placing fewer orders with the supply chain for the upcoming iPhone 15 series for the second half of 2023 than the iPhone 14 for the second half of 2022, according to DigiTimes Research senior analyst Luke Lin.
He says Apple ordered a total of 80–90 million smartphones for its iPhone 15 series from the supply chain for the second half of 2023 in August, down from the 90–100 million units ordered in August 2020 for the iPhone 14 series for the second half of 2022. Within the orders, the iPhone 15 Pro Max owns the highest share, followed by the iPhone 15 Pro, the iPhone 15, and the iPhone 15 Plus.
