Flourish by Martin E.P. Seligman
Write down 3 good things that happened each day, and why they happened.
That is one of the exercises in this book, and a mention of that is why I checked this book out. While bombarded with so much negativity in the media and beyond, this was a way to remember the good that is happening to you and others, and why.
But while it is rare that I find a book too technical or too scholarly, even to the point of being institutional, I personally found this book to be that way, and didn't finish reading it.
So why bother listing it here? I think some of the exercises could be very helpful, including this one and the one of finding one's true strengths. And maybe someone else will find it interesting and make it through even more of the book.
