Any thoughts on times that the RSI matters more, or matters less? Since the whole market it on an upswing, with spy at 62 and qqq at 65, maybe it matters a little less. Already AAPL's "bounds" tend to be a bit different than the standard guidance, skewing upwards a little. ...but it's easy to get caught up in the giddiness of an upswing and think it should never end. "This time is different". It doesn't feel bubbly, and probably isn't since AAPL and the various indexes just came from the other end of the spectrum. Still, this will end at some point. Maybe it will be flat for a while instead of going down, though we are approaching the holiday season and more stores are trying to get a jump on the consumer money. It's just one of those times where riding the wave you start to think it will carry on up to 220-240. But that's probably not this go around, and so then one has to wonder where things will end and change.

Remember that Black Friday is almost here and there will be a lot of data on what people are buying. It could cause the bubbles to continue to rise.

It's interesting to hear what other companies are doing, even if it is in a different business. Ford opens exclusive Bronco Off-Roadeo courses to non-owners for first timeThis is similar to the classes Apple offers at their stores, though I haven't heard a lot about them lately. Glancing a bit, most of the classes look to be "using your Apple product you probably already bought" instead of "these are amazing things you can do, and you really should upgrade or go with a higher level so you can do them or do them well". www.apple.com/today/calendar/?topics=daily-sessions&showHero=trueI guess I get a kick out of it when it seems like marketing is done well, when things come together just right. On that note, I think it's time to reread "How to drive your competition crazy". It's off the shelf, and onto the nightstand. I don't remember much of it, but I remember it dovetailing with Steve's ability to get free publicity.
