Strange intraday yesterday. A sudden drop then flat.
It's 10:30pm (where I am in the antipodes) and I am procrastinating getting on with some work, hence starting the thread.
There's some news on side loading in the EU. Just why?
But that's about all I can find in my scant whisk thru one or two Apple news sites.
I don't even know where the pre market is at???
Okay enough of this shilly-shally, I've got work to do!

Something has built a fire under TSLA this week.

I finished my work!! All uploaded.. to Sharepoint. It's somewhat peculiar to be using so many Microsoft products these days and being okay with it - I use Teams every day, without a second thought. I do, however, use Pages, Numbers and Keynote all the time and I just basically refuse to use the MS counterparts, which feels clunky in comparison. But I was reading Gurman's take on Apple missing the boat on AI in this Bloomberg link and how Microsoft is incorporating AI into its Office suite. This could be a game changer and totally change the way we work - for better or worse (probably a blend I'm thinking) How does a behemoth like Apple just completely miss the boat on such a paradigm changing technology like AI... or am I somewhat premature in my criticism? Time will tell. Off to bed. nighty-night

I have only one comment regarding AI.
I think it's over-hyped; it ain't that good.

Regarding Sideloading - can't wait until some EU Bureaucrat downloads some dodgy Pron App and his un-walled iPhone gets Pawned...😂

Microsoft likes to hype what it is working on; Apple generally prefers to keep things under wraps and let the results speak for themselves, and that includes internally keeping things on a “need to know” basis. Time will tell. Off to bed. nighty-night When you wake up, benoir, check out this article before declaring Apple late to the game. 9to5mac.com/2021/03/25/apple-bought-more-ai-companies-than-anyone-else-between-2016-and-2020/ "Once in a while, Apple announces the acquisition of another company or startup, but now, new research from GlobalData shows that Apple is in fact investing heavily in artificial intelligence. The research reveals that Apple has acquired more AI companies than anyone else between 2016 and 2020."
