Nice to see some upside. We had our first winter storm, 6" at our house when the forecasts were expecting 1" of snow. Up to a foot up higher. This is probably the first that sticks through the season. Our local small ski resort opened today too. We got in a couple runs, 2 with our friend on the local search and rescue crew. I'll have to ask her if they've seen a change with Apple SOS, though my guess is there's still an uptick in numbers due to more people getting outside. When moving my last boulder of the season, I just saw two guys out over 2 miles on a dirt path with some snow and ice, on more road-ish rental e-bikes, without helmets. They made it back, but it's a confirmation that not all are making good decisions. Looks like pedegoelectricbikes.com/dealers/reno/Our internet was down for the day, for the whole town, possibly from the snow. It's not life changing, but does remind you a bit. Try going internet free for a day, possibly even including skipping credit cards. The thrift stores were going cash-only, but the new grocery outlet said no debit cards, but credit cards were ok. I saw the icon for Apple Pay, so used that, and got the notification this evening once the internet was back on. One more day this week. Will we see a follow-thru day? My preference, and vote, is for that!
