Well, that was a no good ugly week.
I wonder who (cough Google), was behind the push for Apple to get the Apple Watch working with Android, Open up ApplePay and the blue bubble thing?
As was mentioned, this will blow over. It will take a few months though.

Perhaps I am being a bit overly optimistic, but I believe any reporting period that includes the holidays will avoid being a significant disappointment, BWDIK. We picked up a few presents at the Cambridge Apple Store.

Apple has approached a multi-year low on the 7 day RSI 11.9. 28.4 for the more commonly referenced 14 day RSI. So with the large gap down on the weekly chart etc. looks like the decline will slow and consolidate at some level. Then reverse.

Horace: @asymco It is the ultra-premium segment that is driving growth. Specifically, smartphones costing $1,000 or more have "captured over one-third of the total premium market sales in 2023." The 6% growth in premium smartphones contrasts with the previous year 2022, which saw only a 1% increase. @asymco "The global premium smartphone (wholesale price $600) market's sales are likely to grow 6% YoY in 2023 to hit a new record. The premium segment is likely to capture close to one-fourth of the global smartphone market sales and 60% of the revenues in 2023." mastodon.social/@asymco
